What is CLE Cosmetics?
CLE Cosmetics is a clean, Korean-American beauty brand inspired by minimalism. Founded by Lauren Jin in 2015, each product within the line is designed to promote a sense of ritual and support contemporary womxn with self-care basics as they pursue the fullest expression of their personal power and sensuality.
How do you pronounce CLE? What does it mean?
Pronounced like “clay”. CLE was born from the idea that beauty should be fluid, subjective and moldeable, just like clay!
CLE is also an acronym for Cosmetic Lifestyle Essentials.

How do I contact customer service?
If you have any questions on our products or are inquiring about your order status, please contact through our Contact Us page or email us at cs@clecosmetics.com and we will address your question as soon as possible!
Do you offer discounts?
We offer our first-time customers a special discount! You can access it by signing up for our mailing list. Codes and discounts cannot be combined on orders. Once an order is placed, we are unable to adjust or add discounts to an existing order.
Can I change or cancel my order?
For any changes to your order, please scroll to the bottom of your order confirmation email and click ‘Cancel Order’. This option is only available if your order has not been processed. Once your order has been processed, we are unable to modify the contents or cancel your order.
What should I do if I entered the wrong shipping address?
If you accidentally entered the wrong shipping address, please notify our team immediately via email at cs@clecosmetics.com. Once your order has been shipped, we are unable to make any adjustments.
What’s the status of my order?
Once your order has been shipped out, you will receive a confirmation email from us with a tracking number. By clicking the link, you will be able to track your order within 24 hours.
What should I do if there are items missing in my order?
Please reach out to cs@clecosmetics.com and provide your order number and the item missing.
What should I do if my order arrived damaged?
Please take a photo of the damaged good(s) and provide your email address used to place the order and order number within 72 hours of receiving your order. Send this information to cs@clecosmetics.com.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays). During promotions, order processing time may be delayed by 5 to 7 business days due to high demand. We will do our best to process your orders promptly.
Transit time for domestic orders is 2 to 8 business days. Transit time for international orders varies by destination, ranging from 10-20 business days. You have the option to select expedited shipping for an additional fee, but it does not shorten the time to process your order; it only speeds up shipping.
How much does shipping cost?
North America: We offer free ground shipping on domestic orders $75 USD and up. For orders under $75 USD, price will vary by destination and order size.
Rest of the World: Shipping cost will vary by destination and order size.
What should I do if my order was returned to CLE?
If your order was returned to the sender for any reason, you will receive an email from our customer service team to re-ship the goods once it has been delivered back to our fulfillment center.
Once an item has been marked as returned to the sender by the shipping carrier, the only option is to wait for it to arrive back at our fulfillment center. We are unable to intercept the package at this point in time.
What should I do if my order was lost or stolen?
If the tracking status of your order states that your package has been delivered but you did not receive it, there is a possibility the postal network pre-scanned your package as delivered before the actual delivery. Please allow USPS approximately 7 business days from the postmark date to complete the delivery.
If you don’t receive your package by then, please contact USPS directly to file a claim. CLE is not responsible for missed deliveries or redeliveries.

All orders are shipped from Carson, CA, USA.
How do I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with your shipping confirmation including your tracking number and a link where you can track your order.

Why am I being charged a customs fee?
Orders outside the US may incur customs clearance fees and taxes. Each country has its own regulations, so contact your local postal service or customs office for details. International customers are responsible for all customs-related charges and return shipping fees if the package is refused due to customs fees.
CLE is not responsible for lost packages or untraceable return shipments.
Please note that customs delays may occasionally occur.
We strive to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy, we offer a 30-day return policy from the date your order was delivered. Below, you will find the details of our return policy, package protection, and how each applies to your order.
Eligibility: You can return items within 30 days of delivery. Items marked as "final sale" are not eligible for returns. Only products purchased directly from clecosmetics.com are eligible for returns. For purchases made through other retailers, please contact the retailer directly.

Free Returns + Package Protection (Available in U.S. Only)
By selecting this option at checkout, you receive additional benefits regarding both the security of your shipment and return shipping costs. Here’s how it works:
Free Return Shipping: You are eligible for free return shipping for store credit. Please be aware that for refunds, you are responsible for the cost of the return label.
Package Protection: This protects your order from being lost, stolen, damaged, or shipped incorrectly.
If you opted out of this coverage, you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping label when returning items for store credit or refund.
Refunds and Store Credit
Once your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, which will be valid for 28 days. Please note that items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted or eligible for a refund. CLE is not responsible for lost packages or untraceable return shipments.
Refunds or store credits will be issued as soon as we receive your returned package. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for refunds to appear in your account.

Why was I charged more than once for an order?
If you used a credit card to place an order and it declined for any reason (including but not limited to invalid CVV, expiration date, billing address, etc), you may see a pending charge on your account. If this happens, the pending charge will clear from your bank statement within 1-5 business days.
Unfortunately if this happens, we are not able to do anything on our end. If you're concerned about the pending charges, your best option is to contact your bank.
My credit or debit card is not working.
If your credit or debit card is not working during checkout, please verify that the following is correct:
- Credit or debit card number
- Expiration date
- CVV/card security code
- Cardholder name
- Billing address matches exactly as it appears on your credit card statement
- Sufficient funds or credit available
If you still are having issues, the best option is to reach out to your financial institution/bank directly or to use an alternate card or form of payment.
Do the prices shown on product pages include tax?
Prices shown on product pages do not include tax or shipping fees. Tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and relevant tax rules.
