CleanHub, at its core, is a platform that empowers brands to take meaningful action against plastic pollution by ensuring it doesn't end up in our oceans or landfills. This collaboration aligns with CLE's values, emphasizing the brand's dedication to making a positive impact on the planet and promoting an eco-friendly beauty experience.
Since our partnership with CleanHub in 2022, we have made significant progress towards our goal of plastic neutrality and fair working conditions. Thousands of pounds of ocean bound plastic have been safely collected and recovered by the local waste workers in India, a country currently facing a plastic waste crisis and in much need of proper waste management. This initiative is made possible by CleanHub’s partnership with Recity, an organization based in India that organizes the collection process of non-recyclable plastic - in turn, providing communities in need with proper waste management and stable jobs.
By partnering with CleanHub, CLE is not only making strides in sustainable business practices but also contributing to the larger goal of creating a circular economy and reducing the environmental impact of the beauty industry. We successfully met our goal of 5,574 lbs of plastic collected in our first year and plan to continue with these efforts.

By the end of 2024 into 2025, we hope to ensure 70% of plastic used in our packaging is ocean-bound plastic.
